New Home Kit Is Tasteful !

Saints reveiled their new home kit this morning and intitial reactions seem favourable.

Saints have stayed with tradition with their new home kit as unveiled on the official web site this morning, they have kept a traditional striped design for the main body of the kit, however sometimes football kit designers think they always have to do something different and in our case its with the sleeves, they will be an all white effort, not a total new innovation as Saints had all white sleeves on the first admiral home shirt in 1976.

The shorts are black and the socks are red and this gets a big thumbs up from me and the overall look is that of the great Saints home kits, but with a twist and that twist being the sleeves.

Overall I cant find much to complain about with this kit, its keeping to tradition but with a modern twist, its not gaudy but it is also striking to the eye in a way in which the new Sunderland strip for example isnt, it should please both those who like to see their shirts reflect the past and those who like to see something more modern and should hopefully fly out of the shops

Annual accounts show that the club will have to sell players if we don't go up
The club released the annual accounts for the 2022/3 season this week, and despite the headline figure of an overall loss of £33.7 million, we’re not in danger of any points deduction for now. But the accumulated losses mean that player sales will be inevitable in the summer if we remain in the Championship.
