Smith Could Face West Ham
Blues boss Paul Jewell has confirmed that centre-half Tommy Smith will be in contention for a place in Saturday’s home friendly against West Ham (KO 3pm). The 22-year-old’s New Zealand side exited the Olympics after a 3-0 defeat to Brazil yesterday.
Jewell said: "Tommy should be back with us tomorrow and we'll have a look at him from there.”
Children below 16 years of age can go to the game for free, while there are also offers for season ticket holders if seats are bought in advance. More details here.
