Heaton MOTM for Shots game
On loan keeper Tom Heaton was voted as man of the match by readers of this website following his performance at Aldershot.
It was a great showing by Heaton which included one save in particular which won plaudits from all supporters at the game, and it was that which led to supporters rating Heaton the highest out of all of the Dale side.
Heaton's loan spell is due to end in the next week. His loan was extended on December 28th, with the original end date being 23rd January, but with the rearrangement of Port Vale, there's a chance that he could have one further game on loan.
First choice keeper Kenny Arthur returned to the first team squad on Tuesday, following several weeks out with a slipped disc but had to make do with a spot on the bench.
