Britton Urges Liverpool Star To Sign On

Leon Britton believes that Paul Anderson & Febian Brandy should commit to the Liberty

Roberto has made no secret of his desire to bring both back to the club for the coming season after varying lengths of loan spell last season.   He believes that both will add an extra dimension to the Championship challenge and is waiting to hear from both of them with decisions expected this week.

However, neither has yet to commit to Swansea with Chairman Huw Jenkins warning this week that the Swans may not wait for ever although Roberto is known to be a patient man if he believes the target is worth securing.

Leon Britton - who is entering his third different division with the Swans - though believes that the two should sign without hesitation and told News of the World "It would be great if we could get them back for another season because they have already shown their quality.  We know they are special talents and would be great assets.

"It also helps that they don't have to settle in and get to know the manager, the players and the set up.

"Maybe I'm biased but I think Swansea would be the best move for these players and their development"

Britton also reacted to the ongoing saga involving Ferrie Bodde and Derby County by saying "I have spoken to Ferrie but he's his own man and will decide what is best for him.  We'd love him to stay because he's a big player for us and will be a major influence in the league."
