BJB Day 30

Tensions Mount In The BJB House

Home > Story Index >Day 30 In The Big Jack Brother House

21.06.03 - 8.58am - The remaining housemates are out of bed. After last night's eviction of John Williams they decide to strip his bed of it's bedding. The first surprise of the day is that there is an imprint of John Williams' body on the bed which can only have come from spending too much time in it.
21.06.03 - 10.04am - All of the housemates are in the garden. They have heard a rumour from outside that one of them will be swapping places with someone from the Big Sleeping Giant Brother house. They realise that this cannot be true as all Swansea people are banned from there!
21.06.03 - 11.14am - Big Jack Brother has requested that the housemates cut the grass. They have been in the house for 30 days and no-one has actually done this as yet. It was not a problem until they lost Leon Britton in the middle of the garden somewhere. Peter Owen starts the lawnmower up and pushes it carefully for fear of shredding the boy wonder!
21.06.03 - 1.13pm - A row has erupted in the house between Myra and Steve Watkin. She is complaining that every time she goes to the toilet after Steve she has to wade her way through puddles where he has missed the toilet. She suggests that in future he pees in the bath as he has a bigger target to hit.
21.06.03 - 3.01pm - Leigh Dineen is refusing to take charge of everything in the house. He is quite happy to be second in command over anything but not first in command. Indeed, it has now got to the stage where he will not even talk to a housemate unless someone else starts the conversation off.
21.06.03 - 4.02pm - Another argument in the house. Jason Smith, James Thomas and Leon Britton are arguing over which one of them is the most popular current Swans player. Jason Smith strains his tongue early on the argument but Leon is the overall winner when he throws his toys out of the pram, one of them badly injuring Smith.
21.06.03 - 5.48pm - As a special treat for the housemates, Big Jack Brother is allowing them a chinese meal. However, there is a surprise element in that they are not allowed a menu, they just have to pick a number and have whatever that turns out to be. James Thomas picks number 3 whilst Leigh Dineen naturally opts for number 2. Peter Owen asks for number 3(.)99. Steve Watkin misses the point and asks for fish and chips twice whilst Leon Britton asks for anything after number 8 (as that is when he usually has to be in bed by) Myra asks for 54 (her age!) whilst Nick prefers number 9 as that will be how long he thinks he will be in the Big Jack Brother house.
21.06.03 - 8.18pm - After the chinese meal has been devoured and the housemates have shared 10 bottles of wine, the singing has started again. The housemates are having a competition to see if any of them can break a glass with the highest pitch note that they can manage. Naturally, Jason Smith wins.
21.06.03 - 9.58pm - Peter Owen is in a sulk. He has been told by both Leon and Nick that Swans World is not all it is cracked up to be. He has even offered them an extra three minutes free if they pay for the next 12 years as soon as they leave the house but they remain to be convinced. Peter explains as well that the registration is once only and from then on it is all looked after by cookies to which Leon says "I'm not allowed cookies my mummy says they'll rot my teeth"
21.06.03 - 11.14pm - It's been a day of arguments in the BJB house and they decide to go to bed to put it all behind them. In six days time, the fifth one of them will be leaving - who goes is your choice - cast your vote at the link below.

Annual accounts show that the club will have to sell players if we don't go up
The club released the annual accounts for the 2022/3 season this week, and despite the headline figure of an overall loss of £33.7 million, we’re not in danger of any points deduction for now. But the accumulated losses mean that player sales will be inevitable in the summer if we remain in the Championship.
