Swansea 0 - 0 Liverpool in 1990, sticks out for me cos if Keith Walker had scored with his screamer we would'nt have been humiliated at Anfield in the replay and lost 8-0- ah well at least 'Speilburg' had it recoreded including the supporters goals near the end |

The West Ham game (again). I couldn't get a ticket for the match, so my colleague (a West Ham supporter) managed to get some and I spent the match watching it from the away end! What an experience (and one I care not to repeat!) All I could do when Martin Thomas scored was to give my mate a kick on the shins. I waited till I got back to the car and then let it all out. YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS! Ah memories |

Swansea City 0 Liverpool 0. Ok, so there were no goals but this a mighty Liverpool - John Barnes, Grobelaar, Steve Nicol, Peter "whinging to the ref" Beardsley and of course a certain Jan Molby. But we had Lee Bracey to keep 'em all out. I won't mention the replay but the Swans fan who beat Grobelaar from 10 yards was class! |

Liverpool 8 Swansea 0: Myself, my old man and two friends drove to anfield in a hired ford fiesta. Some dopey old woman drove into the side of us on a roundabout in the city centre an hour before kick-off and we only just made it in time for the start of the game. A great night despite the result, especially the Swans fan running on and putting his own ball past Grobbelar when we were 6-0 down (fair play on grobbelar, he thought it was hilarious) I remember watching the highlights that my mother taped when I got home and trying to explain to her why we were all singing 6-1!!! Swansea 3 West Brom 2 - 3rd round 1987. We were in the old Division 4, West Brom in the old Division 2. Late, late winner from Sean McCarthy got us the win. The reason, I only started going down the Vetch the year we got relegated from the old 1st division, so I'd endured only misery following the Swans (constant relegation and going out of business before THAT triumphant return at Cardiff). So to finally see some real success was unforgettable. |

FA cup memori Swansea v Liverpool 0-0/8-0 highlights been covered above. Great games both despite the replays result. remember finding out we had Liverpool in Doras the night of the draw LOL Newcastle 3 - Swansea 0 Great day out this one the highlights being 200 jacks being snowballed by two little kids on some estate in gateshead whilst looking for a pub. Taking over the Black bull before the game much to the surprise of the locals and all singing we hate sunderland/cardiff etc. Swansea 3 West Brom 2 as above but also the fact that Dudley lewis scored an own goal 7 minutes from time and we still won with a last minute goal. The north bank that day was electric. Swansea v wealdstone memorable only for the fact that it was postponed about 84 times before the game was completed including once when we'd kicked off if memory serves me correct. I think we won in the end 4-1?? I have many more but i'm in work, so ain't got time to think. |
