Song Choices At The Rock

Should The Club Be Discouraging Certain Songs?

There are two distinct sides to this argument. The playing of Daydream Believer can work the crowd up into a crescendo ahead of either the first or second half but some don't like it.

There is also the "It's racist v It's not racist" debate that comes around whenever you discuss the SHAP song with anyone.

Then we get the "but that song is not factually correct" grouping. On this subject I have to say that very few songs are factually correct.

England, I do believe is not full of s t. As much as I would like to believe it we are not the greatest team the world has ever seen. And I don't believe that Alan Waddle actually could walk on water although I can't disprove that one! But that aside it creates debate.

So, in our new feature "Burning Issue" we want to ask you, the fans, the following question, you can add your comments below and also vote in our poll on the subject.

Should the club be actively doing anything to discourage the singing of the SHAP song. And what. Leave your comments below and vote in the poll at this link

Annual accounts show that the club will have to sell players if we don't go up
The club released the annual accounts for the 2022/3 season this week, and despite the headline figure of an overall loss of £33.7 million, we’re not in danger of any points deduction for now. But the accumulated losses mean that player sales will be inevitable in the summer if we remain in the Championship.

Leeds frustrated by well-drilled Sunderland
We needed to win this game to regain the momentum that seemed to have gone over the international break, but this was another pedestrian performance, without any of the intensity that was needed to break down a determined Sunderland defence.
