TRUNDLE AND ROBBO IN PFA TEAM OF THE YEAR

Trundle And Robbo In Team Of Year

The PFA Team of the Year: Coca-Cola League One

Darryl Flahavan - Southend United

One of the most consistent goalkeepers in the lower leagues, and has been for several seasons. Not the tallest, but his all-round shot-stopping ability has been crucial to Southend's recent success.

Greg Halford - Colchester United

Highly-rated former England Under 20 international who is equally comfortable at right back or in midfield. Still only 21, his form this season has brought him to the attention of several clubs in the higher leagues.

Sam Sodje - Brentford

Excelled last season in his first year in league football having signed from Conference side Margate, and he has maintained that form this term. Strong central defender and a real crowd favourite, he also weighs in with a few goals.

Adam Barrett - Southend United

A rock at the heart of Southend's defence, he has been a key figure in the club's rise in the past couple of years. One of their star performers in last year's promotion-winning campaign, he has coped easily with the step up and this is his second successive PFA team nomination.

Gareth Roberts - Tranmere Rovers

Welsh international full back who has been with Tranmere for seven years after his return to Britain following a spell in Greece with Panionios. A reliable and capable defender, he is also a real threat when going forward.

Neil Danns - Colchester United

An energetic and skilful midfielder with an eye for goal, he, like his team mate Halford, has been linked this season with a move to a higher league. Was unable to establish himself as a youngster at Blackburn, but looks destined for another shot at the top flight.

Andy Robinson - Swansea City

All-action 21-year-old who is now in his third season of league football. A free kick expert, his non-stop style of play has made him a real crowd favourite and he is certainly a goal threat as he has proved by netting double figures in League One this season.

Kevin Maher - Southend United

Was named in last season's League Two Team of the Year and has carried that form into the higher level. Solid and dependable with a good range of passing, he has now made more than 300 appearances for Southend.

Michael McIndoe - Doncaster Rovers

Currently on loan at Derby County, his speed and trickery on the flanks make him a real danger to any defence. His sparkling form for Doncaster earlier this season attracted not only the Rams, but also Scotland, for whom he has now won 'B' international honours.

Lee Trundle - Swansea City

The man with magic in his boots, he has netted 20 league goals for the second season running. Nominated in last season's League Two team, he has taken the step up in class in his stride. Full of tricks, he was voted League One's Player of the Year at last month's Football League awards.

Billy Sharp - Scunthorpe United

Teenage striker who has made a real impact in his first full season of league football. Signed last summer for £100,000
