"Mates Rates" Available For Preston

The Swans are introducing mates rates for next week's visit of Preston North End

Swansea City are playing some of the best football ever seen by the club at the moment and now season ticket holders are being given the chance to let two mates see just how good it can be next week - but for the price of just one ticket.

Victory for the Swans in the fixture would be their third successive league success and take their unbeaten run in the league to 11 games - a run that stretches back to November when Birmingham triumphed at the Liberty.

Prices are already relatively cheap at the stadium - certainly in return for the brand of football that is being played - but with many fans feeling the pinch because of the dreaded credit crunch the offer should prove to be popular and take the gate for the fixture to a decent level.

The release via the official site said "Like every club, we are continuously striving to build our fan base, especially with the classy brand of sexy football Roberto has created. So why not persuade two mates back to the Liberty for what should be a thrilling finale to Swansea's Championship campaign.

The two for one ticket for the Preston game is exclusively for season ticket holders and available from the ticket office now. Just take along your season ticket booklet."

The Swans won the reverse fixture at Deepdale 2-0 and have the chance to complete a league double over the famous club.

But the accumulated losses mean that player sales will be inevitable in the summer if we remain in the Championship.
