Shrewsbury Rule Out Move For Collins
Shrewsbury have denied being ready to make a move for Matty Collins
The name of the Swansea City player has been linked with a move to Shrewsbury but a move ruled out totally by their manager Paul Simpson.
"It must be that type of year because he isn't a name that we have talked about and I am happy with my midfield at the moment," Simpson toldskysports.com.
"It is other areas of the field that I am focusing on improving at the minute, so he definitely isn't a target for this football club.
"I am trying to add some fresh faces to the squad and I think that it is important to bring in a few to give everyone a bit of life again.
"We've been trying to bring in a defender this week after suffering the loss of Graham Coughlan but so far that has been rather fruitless.
"We will continue to work to try and bring somebody in and hopefully that will pay off."
