Brendan - We Are Only Going To Get Better

Brendan Rodgers believes his Swansea City side can onlu get better despite their 3rd place position

The Swansea City manager saw second half goals from Marvin Emnes and Scott Sinclair lift his side into 3rd place and was delighted when he spoke to the official web site after the game.

And, maybe ominously for the rest of the division - Brendan believes his side can only get better - "It's still very early, but I feel we are only going to get better

"Considering the squad is still taking on board the way I work, they have been fantastic.

"This week has been a good test for us with three difficult games (Reading, QPR and Leicester), so the fact that we've taken seven points from nine is massive credit to the squad.

"They work tirelessly every day and we showed that intensity and pressure to win the ball back very quickly today.

"That's our third clean sheet on a trot and we are showing a real desire not to concede. But we've also added penetration, execution and flare at the other end of the pitch.

"I thought we were fantastic today against a very good Leicester side.''
