Wayne's World
Dale have signed experienced defender Wayne Thomas on loan from Luton Town for the remainder of the season.
Defensive options have been somewhat stretched in recent weeks with the injury to Rhys Bennett, so Dale have swooped on the load deadline day to bring Wayne Thomas to the club.
Thomas is vastly experienced defender having played for a whole hosts of clubs, and was once transferred for over a million quid when Southampton paid out seven figures for him. He'd been playing in Greece recently, and nearly joined Dale at the back end of the January transfer window before opting for Luton.
In other transfer news, Keith Hill has followed up the season transfer of Michael Rose on Valentine's Day, bring bringing in striker Joe Bunney in time for Easter. The young striker will train with the club during the week whilst playing for Northwich Vics at the weekend.
