No Doyle for Leeds but Brian waits on duo

Kevin Doyle has told an Irish Radio Station that he won't be signing for us, However today's Daily Star reports that deals are in place to bring in Noel Hunt and Matt Mills to the club.

Doyle rubbished reports linking us with him on a radio station back in his native Ireland. Leeds were reported to have been waiting on the outcome of a meeting between Doyle and his new Wolves boss Kenny Jackett, however Doyle's comments have all but killed off the speculation on Friday.

The outcome of a meeting on Thursday closer to home will be of more interest to Leeds fans, this was the summit held to discuss the eternal hot potato of transfer funds between Brian McDermott, Shaun Harvey and the board -McDermott stating players are willing to come to Leeds but the funds need to be put in place.

However if the Leeds boss believes what the Daily Star says today, Leeds will spon add Noel Hunt and Matt Mills to his recruitment list which so far only contains the name of Matt Smith from Oldham. Hunt is widely expected to move north when his Reading deal formally expires on June 30th. However Bolton have denied Leeds have bid for Mills in any shape or form, despite extensive speculation linking him with a permanent move and more recently a loan deal.
