Pompey's busy summer in the transfer market continues.
The Blues have signed midfielder James Dunne from Stevenage and goalkeeper Michael Poke from Torquay - both on two-year deals.
Andy Awford is also believed to be close to recruiting Swindon forward Miles Storey, who first burst on to the scene two seasons ago as an 18-year-old.
Dunne, 24, spent the second half of last season on loan with St Johnstone. Poke, 28, has left Torquay following their relegation to the Conference.
Awford told the club's website: 'James is a player that I've admired for the last 18 months and enjoyed a very successful spell in Scotland last season. I've watched him play on a few occasions and am delighted that he's agreed to join us - especially as there were clubs from higher leagues interested in him.
'Michael is a good all-round goalkeeper, who will come in and provide decent competition.'
Storey is a former England under-19 international who is also interesting Shrewsbury.
Pompey return for pre-season training on Thursday and there will be a host of new faces among the more familiar ones.
