Right said Fed and Zan the Man to follow?

According to the usually reliable twitter feed of the YEP's Phil Hay Roma's Federico Viviani will join Leeds on a season long- loan and he will be joined by 18-year-old Zan Benedici of AC Milan.

Leeds looked to have passed up on Viviani who was due to sign up on a season long-loan but apparently deferred his decision after watching us lose to Mansfield Town, maybe he had a change of heart after the news greeted him that we'd scraped a slightly more respectable 2-2 draw at Chesterfield at the weekend.

Massimo Cellino appeared to have killed the deal stone dead by telling us to forget about the highly rated Italy international, however Massimo does have a tendency to say one thing and do another, like buying back Elland Road in his first week In charge for example and according to the usually reliable Phil Hay of the YEP Viviani is in the bag for definite.

Meanwhile Sky Sports understand that Leeds are also looking at bringing in Zac Benedici, an 18-year old Slovakian who plays for the Rossineri's U19 side, again the deal would be on loan.

Annual accounts show that the club will have to sell players if we don't go up
The club released the annual accounts for the 2022/3 season this week, and despite the headline figure of an overall loss of £33.7 million, we’re not in danger of any points deduction for now.
