Demichellis Set For New Deal
Martin Demichelis is set to sign a new 12 month deal at manchester City. The Argentine international is out of contract at the end of this season and would be free to join another club for nothing but Manuel Pellegrini has made it clear he doesn't want the defender to leave.
Demichelis overcame an indifferent start at City to go on to help them win the Premier League title and the Capiyal One Cup last season. He also played a part in Argentina's World Cup campaign in Brazil last summer.
Martin began his career at River Plate before spells at Bayern Munich,Malaga and Atlético Madrid before joining Manchester City on the 1st September 2013 for a reported £4.2 million. The move saw him hook up with Manuel Pellegrini again who was his former boss at Malaga.
He has played 29 times for City so far this season.
