Saints Lining Up Audacious Loan Move For Keeper
According to reports in the media Saints are lining up an emergency loan move for Chelsea keeper Petr Cech.
Saints could apply to take Cech this season on an emergency loan basis under Premier League rules, however the stumbling block to this would be the fact that they have the option to recall Artur Boruc from Bournemouth and when you add to this the fact that apart from Kelvin Davis they still have Paulo Gazzaniga at the club with first team experience it would seem likely that a move for Cech would be blocked.
However it would seem that with Frazer Forster's injury looking like it might keep him out way beyond the start of next season and possibly way into the New Year, Saints will surely be looking to sign an experienced keeper until Forster returns and Cech would certainly fit the bill with the level of quality and experience that Ronald Koeman would be looking for.
