LFW Pub Guide - The White Horse

A bizarre mixture of QPR, Newcastle and Celtic memorabilia can be found scattered around The White Horse near Shepherds Bush Market tube station.

Name of pub: The White Horse

Location: Uxbridge Road, near Shepherds Bush Market tube station.

Size: Small.

Selection of beers? Good selection but the best Guinness I reckon. House doubles for later is always good value.

Price of drinks? £3.10 for a pint.

How full does it get on a matchday? Totally rammed, especially this season.

How fit are the bar staff? Friendly and a couple who may get it.

How long does it take to walk to the ground from there? Ten minutes.

Sky Sports/ESPN? Sky with three screens inside and one outside.

Suitable for away fans? A few seasons ago maybe but QPR only now.

Suitable for families and kids? See quite a few kids in pre match.

What's the smoking situation? On the pavement or in the beer garden.

Beer garden? Yes, with a few good tables and television screen.

As far as pub toilets go, just how bad are these? Been improved recently so not bad.

Does it serve food and is it any good? No but a great kebab shop next door.

Trendy modern bar, traditional pub or somewhere in between? Traditional.

In one sentence why should people visit/steer clear of this pub? Great atmosphere and full of Rangers fans.

Any other business? If any more fans turn up there will be nowhere to accommodate them.
