Swans Sign McBurnie From Bradford
The Swans have confirmed another summer signing - this time of young striker Oliver McBurnie from Bradford City on a three year contract.
McBurnie will join up with the club's Under-21 squad for the new season and face the likes of Arsenal and Aston Villa which will be brilliant for his development.
The striker made 20 appearances for the Bantams and scored 5 times in 14 appearances whilst on loan at Chester last season and two years ago he also spent time on 'work experience' with Manchester United.
"
I'm really excited about getting started," he said. "I've known about the interest for a little while now but it all got finalised pretty quickly and the hard work starts now.
"I'm thankful for everything that Bradford has done for me, but when a club like Swansea comes in for you then you can't say no.
"It's the perfect opportunity for me and the right time to sign. Hopefully I can have a good start for the Under-21s and continue to learn and develop during my time here.
"Swansea are now playing Category One games and they are the best fixtures in the country. You want to challenge yourself against the best players and I'm really looking forward to getting started."
Welcome to Swansea Oliver lets hope it is a long and fruitful stay

Leeds crush Norwich to cruise through to play-off finalWith our recent form being what it was, I was expecting a nervy encounter, with Leeds struggling to get through the Norwich City defence, but how wrong I was! Farke happy with the result after bore draw at NorwichMany neutrals have complained on social media that yesterday’s game at Norwich City was a bit on the dull side, but the Leeds team wasn't set up to please them. For us it was the result that mattered, and it should leave us in a better position to get through to the final.
Norwich AwaydazeFor the second time this season we are visiting Norwich City, this time for the play-off game at high noon on Sunday, and the kick-off time is of course thanks to our good friends at Sky Sports. You’ll find Carrow Road is about a mile to the south-east of the city centre.
QPR AwaydazeOur trip to Queens Park Rangers is at 8pm on Friday, thanks once again to our very good friends at Sky Sports. We’re not famous any more!
Crisis, what Crisis? As Mark Twain might have said, rumours of the death of our promotion hopes have been greatly exaggerated. Last night’s win at Middlesbrough was a hard watch towards the end, but the vital three points has got our campaign back on track.
