TVOS: Rochdale v Sheffield United

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme — The Voice of Spotland — is back for Saturday’s League One fixture against Sheffield United.

We start with a front cover image of Jamie Allen, who has turned in some excellent performances in Dale’s midfield in recent games.

Keith Hill welcomes Sheffield United to Spotland and looks back at Tuesday’s win over Fleetwood, while Scrutator eulogises about Grant Holt’s return to the club.

We continue our new series profiling every goalkeeper to have appeared for Dale and take a look at the programme from a game against The Blades from 2012.

Action photos appear from the games against Chesterfield and Barnsley, while ‘Travellers Tales’ reports on that trip to Oakwell.

‘On This Day’ features a game from 17 years ago and we move to Kirkholt for our latest ‘Roads of Rochdale’ feature.

Visitors Sheffield United have eight pages of coverage, which includes a review of their best and worst kits and a numerical look at links between the clubs.

All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
