TVOS Preview: Dale v Posh

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme — The Voice of Spotland — is back for Saturday’s League One fixture against Peterborough United.

The programme is once again a 76-page issue containing plenty of reading to keep fans entertained and informed before, during and after the match.

Our new-look programme starts with a lifestyle front cover image of defender Jim McNulty, who was Dale’s only ever-present last season.

McNulty is the subject of the programme’s new Q&A feature, one of several articles added to the programme this season.

These include an interview with former Dale and Peterborough defender Joe Cooke, while supporters John Rowe and Dylan Peacock bring us their new opinion columns.

Naturally, many of the old favourites have been retained, but given a makeover to fit in with the programme’s new design.

Our regular historical pages — ‘On This Day’ and ‘Through The Years’ - are back, while Scrutator gives us his considered view on the national team after Euro 2016.

Action photos appear from the games at AFC Fylde and Curzon Ashton, while Traveller’s Tales returns with a report on that trip to Fylde.

Visitors Peterborough United get nine pages of coverage, which includes five thoughts that pop into our minds whenever Dale take on Posh.

All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.

Annual accounts show that the club will have to sell players if we don't go up
The club released the annual accounts for the 2022/3 season this week, and despite the headline figure of an overall loss of £33.7 million, we’re not in danger of any points deduction for now. But the accumulated losses mean that player sales will be inevitable in the summer if we remain in the Championship.
