Leeds United: Full-back Taylor departs for Guiseley on loan
Leeds United's 19 year-old right-back Michael Taylor has today followed in the footsteps midfield teammate Alex Purver in moving to National League side Guiseley on loan.
The defender, who was named among United's substitutes in a preseason friendly away to Peterborough United in July, has moved to Nethermoor until the 29th of April.
Taylor has previously captained Leeds' under-18 side, and only last June, he agreed a professional contract at Elland Road.
Presently, Guiseley lie in 16th position in the National League with a mere seven games remaining, and are ten points above the dreaded relegation zone.
The player could make a first appearance for Guiseley on Saturday, as Adam Lockwood's charges play host to playoff hopefuls Dover Athletic.
