McArdle to take on Israel on Weds
Dale defender Rory McArdle is back in International Duty this Wednesday when his Northern Ireland U-21 side take on Israel in the U-21 Qualifying Group.
The Irish U-21 are currently top of their group which includes the likes of Germany in a bid to qualify for next summer's UEFA U-21 Championships which will be held in Sweden.
McArdle is a regular in the side which has picked up away wins at Moldova and Luxembourg in qualifying so far, and recent games against Germany and Finland.
Despite the call up, McArdle will be fine to play for Dale against Brentford this weekend. It's likely that McArdle will have to miss a Dale game next month when he will sit out the Chesterfield trip as NI take on Luxembourg.
