Southampton Football Club have confirmed that Dusan Tadic will be leaving the club and joining Ajax.
The statement on the club's official website was short.
"Southampton Football Club can confirm that Dušan Tadić has agreed a move to Ajax for an undisclosed fee.
The transfer, which will be officially completed on 1st July, sees the 29-year-old move back to the Dutch top-flight, four years after joining Saints from FC Twente.
In his time with Southampton, Tadić made 162 appearances, scoring 23 goals, helping the team achieve three top-eight finishes in the Premier League.

In fairness to Tadic he probably deserves a bigger vote of thanks than the two lines the club have given him, he will leave one week short of the fourth anniversary of his arrival in the summer of 2014 for what now looks a bargain fee of £10,900 million.
In four seasons he started 115 Premier League games plus another 19 as sub making a total of 134 appearances made in the League out of a possible 152, perhaps making him one of our most regular performances in that period. Add to that the fact he scored 20 Premier league goals and was usually Saints top man for assists.
He also played another 28 games in cup competitions scoring 3 goals.
It would be fair to say that at times Tadic wasn't everyones cup of tea, he could sometimes drift out of games and appear tired in the final stages of games, indeed it is likely in 2016 that if Ronald Koeman had stayed at the club, Tadic might well have left two years ago.
But he was a player who could change a game, even in games that he did nt really get into, he still had the ability to create a chance or score a goal that would turn that game on it's head, sometimes football fans look too much at effort and less at actual meaningful contributions and Tadic was more about quality than quantity.
He should leave though with the best wishes of Saints supporters for time well served at St Mary's, as he approaches 30 it seems that Saints will make a good profit on a player who has given them good value for money over the last four seasons.
With Tadic gone it will free up a space in the squad that will either allow a new man to come into the squad to replace the Serbian or a member of the current squad to perhaps step forward, the obvious candidate would be Josh Sims, although do not rule out Nathan Redmond to take his opportunity to show what he can really do.
