Raff Away
One of Dale's longest serving players Joe Rafferty has left the club and has signed for Championship side Preston North End.
it's a deal that picked up a few whispers at the start of the month but had gone quiet over the last three weeks. But on Tuesday, the usual Twitterati were linking Raff with a move to Deepdale.
The move was confirmed on Wednesday with the popular right back signing a three and a half year deal at North End bringing his seven year spell with the club to an end.
Raff was brought to Spotland by former boss John Coleman and has pretty much been a guaranteed starter in the first team ever since. He's been predominantly a right back but he's been used as a defensive midfielder on occasion and at left back in emergencies.
