Thommo injury blow - yet again!
Leeds veteran midfielder and club skipper Alan Thompson set to hit the treatment table.
According to leedsunited.com, Thommo has suffered a torn hamstring. The 35-year-old former Bolton, Villa and Celtic man limped off during the 1-1 draw with Orient on Saturday.
Whilst Dennis Wise is facing the loss of his skipper for "a couple of weeks at least", on a brighter note Jonathan Douglas should be able to replace Thompson for the trip to Brighton on Saturday.
Douglas missed Saturdays draw with Orient because he was on international duty for the Republic of Ireland, who held Germany to a goalless draw in Dublin. Douglas appeared as a late sub.
Ireland play Cyprus on Wednesday night and Leeds fans will be praying that if "Dougie" is involved, he returns unscathed for the long trip down south.
