Fab looks good but he's not for us
Sunderland boss and all-round handsome chappy rules himself out of the Delph race.
Ricky Sbragia insisted today that Fabian Delph is NOT a target for Sunderland.
The 19-year-old Leeds sensation is rated at around £8m according to papertalk and Sunderland were reportedly chasing his signature along with Fulham and Arsenal.
However the Mackem's boss distanced himself away from the speculation today, saying “He’s an outstanding player, but from our point of view there’s not been any interest or contact with Leeds United.”
Ken Bates has repeatedly said Delph is going nowhere and he has already rebuffed two Premiership clubs interested in Delph, however as the transfer-window enters its final week, we are bracing ourselves for a late bid.
