England v Ukraine 10:25 - Jul 3 with 2985 viewsBicester_North

Somehow these team leaks keep coming out early

Supposedly it’s back to 4 at the back with the skate back in the team and Sancho in alongside Kane and Sterling

Surprised with Sancho, would have gone with Grealish instead.

He’s a Man U player now, so must have improved over night

The only one of the last 3 games we didn't win (v Scotland) was the only one with Mount in the starting lineup. Who is going to make way for him? Saka? He has been one of our best players. Saka and Grealish both started against the Czechs and Saka started v Germany but we didn't look complete until Grealish came on as a sub. Neither Saka nor Grealish started v Scotland but Mount was there for the whole game, unfortunately.

But, I guess if Southgate picks him and we win, then he'll be proved right.

Grealish must be getting the message, "move to a Top 4 side or your international appearances will be limited"

Well, I say let's get out there and tw@t it!

Sancho for Saka, Mount for Trippier

Sancho for Saka, Mount for Trippier

I would have thought Grealish for trippier the obvious change. But Sancho is very good. As for Mount, Southgate does have his preferred team and Mount is in it so under that lens I guess it makes sense.

I fear set pieces are going to go to rat sh1t with Mount back taking them instead of Trippier.

Baffles me how Mount gets so much game time for England.aa

Would love to think so, but with the Grealish money we can hold out for a decent wedge for him and unfortunately that's probably what Gao will do

Grealish is not 90 mins fit.
Sancho is direct replacement for Saka who has a knock.

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

Good first half. No need for Mount to turn his back on the shot in that cowardly fashion.

Sancho and Sterling good, look a bit vulnerable at the back but recover well.

Thank god for Ole and Man United, without them we would never have seen Luke Shaw.....

Full credit to you. We saved our energy in the group stages just to get through with 1 nil wins, ready to unleash in the knockout stages whilst other teams used their energy up with 4 3 thrillers, only to go out (like France, Portugal). England and Southgate have played this brilliantly and should get to the final.

Who’d have thought it? Play attacking football and score 4 goals! Southgate has been criticised for being over cautious, and quite rightly given the attacking talent we have, but we are in the semi finals and haven’t conceded a goal yet so he deserves praise for that.
Denmark will not be a push over but looked tired at the end of their match and all being well we look set for the final. England v Italy sounds like a cracking game.

I'd always thought he was a bit boring but his post match interview was brilliant.

Q "Were you able to enjoy it as much as everybody back home?"

A. "No, not really."
