We can if we have a bit of luck and they are over confident ie just turn up and win .
We were unlucky not to win at their place , how that penalty was turned around is ludicrus . Corruption springs to mind .

Anyway if we press their defence we will get chances .

As long as we hold them ofcourse as they are scaringly shithot going foward

Im hoping for A jwp freekick goal for a one nil win to the Saints .

Hopefully City well get a couple of red cards, to help us out.
We are due a couple of VAR decisions to go our way for a change, but knowing who we are up against, means that anything marginal will go in favour of City, obviously.

Just hope we can out in a performance, sneak something result wise and trust that the game won't be decided by a dodgy decision.

Romeu just called him a Pikey and got a big reaction!

What’s with the city shirts? No club badge and looks like a training top.

We've had to work very hard this half.
Salisu has been magnificent.

What a f*cking result!!! We arguably should’ve won it, but I’ll take a point all day long! But when you’ve got a keeper that keeps messing up week after week, your gonna struggle to beat one of best teams on earth! Still at least it should motivate the board into getting Henderson or Johnson!
Still what a result, not loosing to them all season and stopping their like 13 game winning streak.
COME ON YOU SAINTS!

Excellent result. I actually went into this game believing we could get something as I don't believe in free hits. I am glad the team had the same attitude.

Salisu was immense today. What a performance and a very hard won point. For all of City’s possession that really didn’t hurt us too much. Great goal from KWP. Delighted with the draw but I am glad we don’t play as defensively every week!!

Not good enough Ralph. Stopping the Champions and best most expensively assembled team in the world twice in one season. Things could be much better with a different manager. Where are all the posters doubting Ralph this week?

Awesome performance and Salisu outstanding as was Forster - tough to fault him in the free kick when no one went with la Porte (KWP just stopped and let him run). Only thing I would note is our passing in transition in the break was quite sloppy/weak - had that been crisper we could have put it to bed early in the game. Need that level of ficus week in week out and we can really start moving up the table.

Wtf you on about Elijah 🤣🤣 Forster was superb he made 4/5 very good saves ffs . I never want to see McCarthy in goal again . Forster, Salisu, Broja all magnificent and Ralph mentioned all 3 of them at the end saying how good they were. You must watch a different game to many of us .

A handful of good results dosent brush over the second half of last season and some thumpings.

These are building blocks and it looks promising but lets not get carried away.

It was a great team effort

I think last year or was it the year before, we beat city at home under Ralph. The building blocks have always been there. Last season was Ings causing upset in the squad and we had Gao. You will see Ralph thrive now.

really hope so. No one can say he wont have been given a chance.

If only Bednereks header or Brojas on had gone in, then it might be a win we are celebrating tonight.

We had a good transfer window last time out . Broja, Perraud ,Livramento ,Small even Lyanco have been great additions despite reservations by some including yourself mate. I just wish we had a stronger centre back to play with Salisu but Fair play to the scouts.

Did you not see their goal!? As yeah he did pull of a decent save against Sterling, but that was the only really decent save he pulled off all game, and he came out and was static yet again (just like the wolves game) but changed his mind and meant that he was out of position and Laporte had an open goal to score into. Their goal was definitely his fault, but yeah the other players you’ve named did also have a great game today

Back from a game we could well have won. Guardiola has just said that is the best City have played all season but they were up against a very good side.

The man mountain, Forster, makes such a difference to the team spirit. Ward-Prowse has the heart of a lion. Walker-Peters with a great goal, Salisu, who was top class and whose name got sung a lot, Romeu, Broja, Perraud etc all played well and the St Mary's atmosphere was good as usual. It's one of the most difficult stadiums in the league for an away team to win at, which is why Guardiola seemed happy to escape with a draw. Of course, they were also lucky to draw against us at the Etihad.

He pulled off several saves and Ralph said he was outstanding in the interview at the end.His only mistake in the last few games was one goal at Wolves apart from that he’s been excellent. The goal against today was due to no marking of Laporte.

Forster had a good game today.
When you have someone like Kevin de bruyne who can take a free kick like he does, its not surprising defences get caught out is it?
Forster made some good saves and has a commanding presence in his area, Man City had a huge percentage of the game in our area and he stood tall against the tide that came at him.
