I'm clearing out my grandmother's garage and for some reason she has a brand new thermostatic mixer valve and rail. Along with a double sliding shower door.

Just when will Christian fundamentalist extremism stop?
A friend of mine is trying to arrange a Christmas present for his little brother - two tickets to the Liverpool home game on 22 Jan. His little brother has come to see us in the past, he was with me at the Watford game back in 2010 when Trundle made his second debut. He's a good kid and had a horrible time this past year, lost two close cousins (15 & 19) within the space of a few months. His brothers asked me to help because I post on here.
The tickets aren't for me and this is a serious request. If anyone has tickets they want to sell and or can help getting tickets it would be hugely appreciated and help make a boy's Christmas.
Aerially dominant CB Attacking RB Attacking LB (If Tabanou doesn't want to stay) Technically sound CM (Allen/JdG) Pacey RW (Only if Ayew leaves, he's too good a player to write off as a poor fit considering the quality of our coaching since he's arrived) Top class CF
I've seen numerous posters on this forum questioning the exclusion of Jack Cork over the last few weeks and I simply cannot understand the hysteria. Cork is fantastic at reading the game, breaking up play and protecting the back four however he's just not very good with the ball. A 33 year old Leon Britton was sharper with the ball against Liverpool than Cork has ever been since he's got here. There's a reason Southampton weren't overly fussed on getting him to sign a new deal.
I'm not sure if there's a genuine infatuation with him or whether he's just another stick to beat Monk with. Somewhere in-between I would imagine. The key to "The Swansea Way" (which has disappeared since the League Cup final) in our early seasons was the fact that our midfield was short, sharp and recycled the ball quickly. Look at the likes of Britton, Allen and de Guzman - all diminutive but very good short passers and that's how we could keep the ball for long periods of time. Our current crop just can't do that, they're all good players in their own right, but don't have the ability to control the tempo of the game.
Honestly I'd seriously consider a move for Joe Allen if he was available. Britton's cameo against Liverpool showed what we've been missing and if it means cashing in on Shelvey (who eternally frustrates) or Ki (who's form has significantly dipped since his stellar last season) then so be it.
Also it's time to stop pissing away money on back-up strikers with no Premier League experience. The intellectual clique on here scoff at the thought of buying players like Shane Long however every season we see misfiring back-ups struggle to hit form or adapt to the league. Eder doesn't look like an exception unfortunately. If we invested a bit more into a player with Premier League experience maybe we wouldn't have to wait five games for our back-up striker to find his feet.
Finally this forum has become insufferable since our poor run of form. How predictable to see the agenda driven nonces like Warwick and DYSS come out of hiding and pollute threads with endless inane criticism. As a fanbase, we've become arrogant, entitled and proven we're incapable of handling anything other than unbridled success. A real shame to see.
...is the contingent of people on this forum who've talked all week about the Sunderland game being a walkover and an easy three points.
There's a horrible sense of arrogance and entitlement that's been creeping into this fanbase recently. Thankfully that hasn't translated to the players who battled hard against a dogged side to get a deserved point when in years previous they may have crumbled.
I'm not going to post on the tickets sub-forum because it's sh*te and nobody looks at it.
Anyways I haven't been down to the Liberty in a while and just grabbed myself some tickets for the Hull game on Saturday. What's the deal with tickets bought online that need to be collected? Do you need a printed email or something or can you just say your name like in the past?
Absolutely unbearable at the moment. I very rarely come on here these days due to university commitments however when I do I can't read for longer than 5 minutes before feeling nauseous at the amount of sh*te posted on here.
It's embarrassing to see the agenda brigade chastise Monk at every single opportunity. Every word uttered from his mouth is analysed to the point of insanity. T*ssers, the lot of them, creaming yourselves over the possibility of Koeman and Marcelo Bielsa when they don't know half the details. Some of them genuinely believe that Jose Canas is better than Leon mind you so you have to take them with a pinch of salt.
That's without mentioning the incessantly negative trolls who pollute this board with their tripe. You know who you are. It's not witty and it's not clever, it's brute force negative claptrap that's bludgeoning this board to its death.
It's a shame the truly great posters are being drowned out by the constant tide of tedium that washes over this once magnificent board.
Not that disappointed considering we've replaced him with a better player in Gylfi but he would have been a useful addition to the squad.
His fan club had become nauseating at times mind. Constantly portraying him as some kind of under-appreciated midfield virtuoso when in reality it was just a handful of numpties who called him sh*t after a bad game.
Very productive and talented player though who was a model professional. Wish him all the best in the future.
