Fck.....you've used your out loud voice. I wish you hadn't! I also wish Spaceman_P was back doing Freds. His calm and assured guidance has lifted us out of many a quagmire of our own making, much less that which the oppo might seek to add to our misery. Luckily, Mrs PH and I are meeting a friend, so I will be unable to watch. However, I shall sneak a peak between courses and by golly, I will be expecting something uplifting. Good luck Rs! |

Arguably one of the most ironic thread titles I've ever seen! |

 | Forum Reply | Retiring from football at 16:41 2 Jan 2026
I stopped marathon running in 2009; had to because of the risk of more serious injuries than I was managing. There hasn't been a day since when I haven't thought about it. I miss it more than I can say and I'd gladly trade Zamora Day to run another. Now I was hobbling along at the back, rarely able to fully train because of injuries and started with a simple hope: just finish, hopefully in one piece. So, I can only but imagine what a pro footballer/sports person must go through at retiring from something they love. It must be near crippling on every level. You stop in your 30s, no more incredible highs, and most of the perks go. Then, WTF do you with the rest of your life? I have real sympathy for a lot of them. Now, retiring from my actual work, 'kin piece of cake; it's kind of balanced itself out in the end! |
 | Forum Reply | An Air of Despondency at 10:29 2 Jan 2026
I wouldn't and don't think folks should use the word 'dispondency' rather, 'realism'. Do that, and you're still happy overall. Said it before, as have many others, our first objective always remains 50 points asap. After that, then its gravy. We're not quite ready to take this target as a given, but this season is a leap forwards. Few of our newbies need to start pushing on, and Jules needs to put into practice the lessons I'm assuming he's learning, especially away from home. We all agree the squads not balanced, and I'm still waiting to see how the 'development' of talent finally works out over the next 12-18 months. Overall, think it's going in the right direction. I expect hiccups, but while the January TW isn't necessarily the best time to do business, I hope we can do some with an eye to next season and getting the pups some proper experience out on loan. Chin up chaps! |

I think I know the answer to this already: anyone know how long for? Maybe JCS doesn't even know. |

Poor. Very poor! I've left early, bugger anyone who wants to criticise. Happy NY, thankfully away this weekend, so see you for our cup run. |
 | Forum Reply | Where are the Coal Mines at 16:36 1 Jan 2026
We've been totally out-thought, out-fought, out-run, out-tackled, out-passed. Out-effing-rageous Rangers! However, if we can get one.... |
 | Forum Reply | Esquerdinha and his usage at 09:54 1 Jan 2026
To be fair, says a lot about DF and sums up QPR at the time: young kid starting out and the so called, seasoned pros on large wages, just left him hanging. There's a whole chorus line of blokes down there crying out for good loans, and not just the Samba Boy. Seeing how QPR manage player development through setting up loans will be really important for the development model. |

Given how the Spanish women fell like dominoes towards the end of the last Women's WC Final against our girls, then let's extend that to a swift kick to their 'cajones', too. And if the women don't have testicles, then a good sharp pinch of the nips should do the trick! Solid idea Bosh! |

Totally agree! Not been on EA or SA for a while, however, with a significantly numbered birthday approaching, heading east on the former. See if it's still up to snuff and how it compares to QA. Think the former CEO of QA, the feisty Mr Al Baker, also admitted QA rue getting the A380s. If where I am and want to get weren't issues, I'd be going Oman Airways and stopping in Muscat and not Dubs for my connecting flight. Cracking airline, and a much more interesting destination, too. |
 | Forum Reply | January transfer rumours at 14:54 30 Dec 2025
It came up on my YouTube and because of your recommendation, I watched it. Can't say I agree Bosh, I eventually switched off when the bloke on the bottom right suggested a million for Frey. It's not exactly 'Hoopsa' standard I'm afraid. |
