Will new loan signing Dany N'Guessan play against United.

Saints have signed Dany N'Guessan on loan from Leicester City, the Frenchman who has been on loan at Scunthorpe earlier this season, had been something of a footballing nomad, leaving his native Auxerre for Rangers, aloan spell at Boston United followed before a permanent move to Lincoln City.

At Sincil Bank N'Guessan made his reputation, 70 league starts plus 21 as sub with 16 goals was a decent return for a winger and it prompted Leicester City to buy him in the summer of 2009 on their return to the Championship.

He was a squad regular as Leicester reached the play offs, starting 16 games plus another 11 as sub scoring 3 goals along the way.

After the departure of Nigel Pearson he initially was still involved with the squad playing in most of the early games, but then fining himself out in the cold.

A month at Scunthorpe on loan in November saw him play three times and score once in the defeat by Cardiff.

Hopefully N'Guessan will enjoy the change of scenery and show why he was a vital part of leicester's squad last season.

Whether his baptism of fire will come at home to Manchester united or be on the lesser known St James's park is something that Sir Alex will have to keep guessan about for the time being.
