Jewell to Speak to West Ham About Dyer Extension Saturday, 9th Apr 2011 08:48 by TWTD.co.uk Blues boss Paul Jewell says he will speak to West Ham regarding Kieron Dyer extending his loan at Portman Road for a second month. Dyer has made one start and two sub appearances since returning to his home-town club a month ago. Jewell said: “It’s his last game on Saturday, but I’ll speak to West Ham and see what’s what. I’ve spoken to Kieron and I think he’s enjoyed it here. “He’s not had a lot of game-time, but he’s enjoyed it. He’s trained all week and I’ll speak with West Ham. If I could possibly keep him we’d look at it.” Dyer, who is in the squad for today’s home game against Crystal Palace, picked up a minor thigh injury in training and missed the Scunthorpe match but Jewell doesn’t appear overly concerned about the problem: “We knew his injury record before and he’s missed one game since he’s been here and then we had a two-week break and he got rid of the injury over that. “I had a chat with him in the week, he’s enjoyed his time here. He’s getting fitter as each day goes by and I think he’s enjoyed it here, so I’ll speak to West Ham.” Story syndicated from TWTD.co.uk Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
