Are the whites' missing a beat?

Unlike previous campaigns, Leeds have been a bit slow off the mark in releasing their new kit, for next season!

The League One play-off campaign of 08/09 and promotion season of 09/10 saw Leeds step out in new home shirts, however they have failed to follow the trend with the season just gone as we made do with the yellow away kit we have worn on and off for the past two seasons.

However it was always going to be tricky to wear a all white kit at QPR.

The club are now selling last season's shirt off for a tenner (Adult price) and you can still get the yellow in junior sizes for just eight quid. You can pick the blue away one up for half price (£20) and it appears that will be our third strip for next season.

I have avidly collected the kits down the years and had them going back to the mid/early 80's but have given up since the Bates' era as I think two new releases per season are excessive and I am not a fan of the Macron brand or quality.

The first season we had them (2008/09) they made the unforgivable sin of including RED on their logo - the home shirt was horrid to put it blunt. I thought the 2009/10 effort with the collar and blue stripe was much better,

Last season's was so uncomfortable to wear, then again I suppose they are designed for competitive athletes and not fat beer monsters.

So we wait with baited breath and see what dear Ken unleashes on us fashion victims for next season and no doubt he will happily take another forty quid off us for the priviledge.
