Canaries seek revenge for
Canaries seek revenge for "over priced" Howson?
Monday, 28th May 2012 21:24

Will our esteemed present owner be left chewing his words from January?

Ken Bates remarked that selling Johnny Howson to Norwich in January was an "idiot/no brainer" situation and implied that getting £2m for him was an "astonishing" bit of business as far as Leeds are concerned.

So goodness knows what he will make if their £1.5m reported offer for Robert Snodgrass today?

Snodgrass is entering the final year if his Leeds deal and as openly questioned his future at the club, citing lack of ambition from Bates as a factor in him considering a move away from the club he captained towards the latter part of last season.

It seems there will be a good chance of Snoddy joining his predecessor Howson and former teammate Bradley Johnson at Carrow Road.

The best thing Leeds can surely hope for is other interested parties who are monitoring the Scots' situation to force up such a derisory valuation of the player in an auction situation?
