Trust the Daily Mail to try and make Leeds fans feel more wretched that Labour-voting Eriterian asylum seekers, they have regurgitated a story from around a month ago linking Neil Warnock to Nottingham Forest,

Dubai based businessman Faswaz-Al-Hasawi, who one month ago was seemingly just hours away from putting together a successful take-over bid for Notts Forest and pinching Neil Warnock has again been linked with doing the double dastardly deed - the ever on-the-ball Mail finally getting round to it four weeks after it appeared in the gutter press.

Obviously keen to dampen the enthusiasm that like a rare ray of sunshine has glowed on ER since Tuesday teatimes' announcement that a potential investor had been granted due diligence to review the accounts, why let the facts get in the way of a good story?

Four weeks ago, the Sun story may have had some credence. A weary Warnock packing his suitcase and off on his jollies knowing that his four per-vacation targets had failed to materialise. However he has since returned, added two more signings, and gone off on another sabbatical.

I feel that his meeting with Bates in Monaco last week was symbolic as Warnock is obviously privy to information we do not have at the moment,

So this blows out any possible return to Nottingham, where Warnock enjoyed so much success just across the Trent at Forest's main rivals Notts County!

So forget the Mail and it's ageing readership and dwindling circulation, let's keep marching on and on!
