A player who needs no introduction, striker Lee Trundle was signed by Brian Flynn from Wrexham in 2003 'Magic Daps' became a firm favourite with the Swans fans and scored 21 goals in just 38 games in his first season in South Wales.
His goals helped the Swans to win promotion in the 2004/05 season, scoring 23 times. Trundle's skills and goals are a pleasure to watch. He is also a frustrating player to watch as he often looks selfish at times.
Last season was an interesting one for Trundle; he proved some of his critics wrong by proving he scored score in League One, scoring 17 times in 18 games up until November. Then injuries, loss of form and transfer speculation seemed to affect Trundle as he only scored 4 goals in 2006 - his last being in the Football League Trophy Final against Carlisle.
Lee still averages nearly a goal every other game and is still a threat upfront, he has some good competition this season with Fallon, Bayo & Knight also fighting for the forward's position. Trundle is also the first ever player outside the Premiership to have his own 'image rights' deal. He, along will Alan Tate, will also serve a one match ban due to the 'Flag incident' in April.
