Bodde Confident Results Will Follow

Bodde: "It'll Come Good"

Ferrie Bodde was the latest to line up and declare that the Swans will come good despite taking just 1 point from 2 games that they have dominated so far in the league this season.

Most fans are accepting that with displays like the two seen to date, it will only be a matter of time before the Swans kick start their season with a win and with two tough openers out of the way there is every reason to feel upbeat ahead of the challenges to come.

Bodde is one player in particular who has attracted rave reviews for his performances to date and he is confident that things will soon turn "We played like we can win but we are disappointed" he told the Evening Post after Saturday's stalemate

"But if you look at the way we played, we created a lot of chances. If we can take those then things will be different. We have good strikers and we are not worried - the goals will come.

"We played as a team and worked as a team - that is good for the future of Swansea. This week and last the teams play very defensively. I think all teams may be defensive against us because in the last two league games we are the team that play football.

"The games have been high tempo and there is a lot of good players - it is better than what I am used to. I think as a team we can get better. So far we have one point but if we play like this we will get a lot more."

Boode arrived at the Liberty in the summer and has settled immediately into the controlling midfield role, a role that has been missing so often in recent seasons. The bulk of the midfield play seems to go through him and he has a calm assurance that is desperately needed in any side that is determined to play football the way it should be played.

Bodde's words are also spot on, the results will come with the displays that we are seeing so far and there is no need to panic at all. We have one point, we have played two of the toughest fixtures we will play this season and we are more than capable of winning the next few games.

Onwards and upwards for certain.
