Martinez Confident Ahead Of Yeovil Test

Martinez Confident About Game

Four games. Four defeats. No points. No goals. The sad statistic that the Swans will take to Huish Park this weekend as they look to break that jinx and come away from Somerset with something in their pocket.

It's been a sorry state of affairs since Yeovil were promoted to the football league with nothing going for them at Yeovil since that date. However, Roberto Martinez is confident that his side can break that this weekend as they look to record a third successive away league victory.

"It's a huge challenge for us to go there and try and change all that," he told BBC Sport

"It's not going to be easy, but we are ready.

Eight months ago Roberto found himself thrust into the limelight at Yeovil just 24 hours after his appointment as Swans manager and he acknowledges that much has changed during his reign "There have been many, many changes," he said. "There's been a lot of work on the pitch and off the pitch.

"We've changed many things and use different ways to approach things and way to play and we are going in the right direction, but we want to keep improving on a daily basis.

"The boys know they need to earn their place and they need to earn it with their football," Martinez added.

"We've been working really to be in this situation to have a very strong squad.

Tom Butler echoed the confidence in the Swans camp by adding "We've got the results with high scores playing away from home and it is a really good boost

"Going away to Yeovil, the history shows we haven't done that well against them, but hopefully with the current form we've been on we can get back to winning ways against them.">
