Owain Tudur Jones says he puts in extra training to try and ensure he keeps himself fit

Tudur Jones has endured a nightmare two years that ended at the back end of last season when he finally returned to both first team and international duty.

And he has now admitted that he does some work after everyone else has finished training to ensure he keeps himself fit.

Tudur Jones has yet to feature in the Championship plans of Martinez so far this season but there is little doubt inside the Liberty Stadium that his time will come this season and he will play a part in the league as well as in cup games.

Speaking in today's News of the World, Tudur Jones said "I do some work after training to make sure I stay injury free.   People may think it's a chore but it's worth it to stop me risking a recurrence.

"I even sometimes need to do some extra work at home but I've accepted that is what I need to do."
