That's Entertainment?
That's Entertainment?

It looks like those loyal souls who have bothered to renew season tickets are in for a treat, Leeds United are set to play the passing game next season according to Brian McDermott.

Ahead of our 10-day training camp in Slovenia, McDermott told lufc.com, 'We want to be one of the best passing teams in this division, but pass with a purpose and an end product, and get into areas where we can hurt teams, and that's what we'll be looking for in the three games here.'

This will come as music to the ears of long-suffering Leeds fans who endured 14 months of "hoof ball" under Neil Warnock. In fact down the years, entertainment value at Elland Road has been pretty poor value. Okay we had the odd glimpse of magic under Gary Mac's reign and although Simon Grayson could not be accused of being a long-ball merchant, his teams did have a tendency to be hopelessly overrun in midfield and suspect at the back.

So roll on some swagger like we saw in the O'Leary era with an end product. Having seen the half dozen or so matches McDermott took charge of last season, I'm sure he will be true to his word and I won't lose any more time off work with a cricked neck!
