Premiership rivals Liverpool are the latest club to be linked with a move for City right back Micah Richards.

Its being reported that Brendan Rogers is the front runner to sign Richards who has turned down a offer of a new five year contract to stay at The Etihad Stadium. The 25 year has found first team football hard to come by finding himself behind Pabalo Zabaleta.

Richards has been with City since July 2005 and has made over 200 appearances for the club.

The full back will not be short on options in the summer with Premiership sides Newcastle, West Ham, Tottenham, Sunderland and Italian side AC Milan all interested in signing Richards in the summer.
