No Moore Stefan at Loftus Road
No Moore Stefan at Loftus Road

Stefan Moore is the latest member of the first team squad to have his contract terminated by the club.

The former Aston Villa striker joined the R's in the Summer of 2005 and made a total of 42 appearances, scoring just 3 goals. The stats don't lie and just about sums up Stefan's time at Loftus Road.

Moore started just twelve games in 2005-06 and scored two goals after signing a three year contract with Rangers. After starting last season on the transfer list, he was soon shipped out to Port Vale, making 13 appearances and scoring one goal. He returned an injured player, but John Gregory gave him his chance in the latter stages of the season and he made 3 appearances for the first team after some half decent reserve performances. He made little impact from a new position wide on the left but Gregory remorselessly used him this season until his sacking.

One of Stefan's three goals for the club, came this season in the 1-1 draw at home to Watford, back in September last year.
