Barcelona Keeper Deal Off?
Saturday, 27th Jun 2015 06:36 by Planet Swans (follow us on Twitter @swansnews)

The Evening Post are reporting that the deal to bring Barcelona goalkeeper Guillermo Lara seems to be off having seem almost certain to have been happening earlier in the week.

On the day that the Swans signed Kristoffer Nordfeldt it was widely reported that the third choice goalkeeper would be Lara but that deal now seems to have cooled leaving the Swans to have to search somewhere else for their third choice goalkeeper for next season.

The departures in the summer of both Gerhard Tremmel and David Cornell left a hole in the Swans keeping department that needed to be filled by two goalkeepers as backup to Lucasz Fabianski, one of the stars of last season.

The arrivals of Nordfeldt has given some proper competition to Fab but it was hoped that Lara would come in as the Under-21 keeper but it now appears that attentions must turn elsewhere
