Allen Green — Podcast
Wednesday, 28th Oct 2015 19:50 by LFW

Former R Bradley Allen and current QPR goalkeeper Rob Green are the guests on this week’s QPR Podcast, addressing the team’s recent form and the atmosphere at home games.

Following Saturday’s hostilities at Loftus Road, Green said: “It doesn’t help. I can understand people’s frustrations but the realisation of the past few weeks has been that this is a new team and a completely new squad. That has happened year after year I’ve been at the club and it’s part of the modern history of QPR — it doesn’t always lead to success, it brings disruption and there isn’t the continuity and stability in the club needed for success.

“We still don’t know where we can go this season, we’re 12 games in with half a new squad and half a new side. It doesn’t click overnight. I understand fans’ frustrations, we were competing against the big clubs in the Premier League last season, but at the same time walking off at half time at 0-0… it’s not always going to be a walk in the park particularly with teams coming happy to take a point from Loftus Road.”

There's also talk of his on-off summer move away from the club, and the impact of Neil Warnock so far at Loftus Road.

Studio regulars Chris Charles and Chris Mendes join host Paul Finney.
