Third round reunion as its Evans v Redders in the FA Cup Monday, 7th Dec 2015 19:35 Leeds have been drawn at home to Championship and Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United in the FA Cup third round, the tie will take place between January 8th-11th and sees switching bosses Steve Evans and Neil Redfearn go head-to-head again. Billed as the "ex-factor" Neil Redfearn enjoyed a triumphant return to Elland Road in the league last month, bringing Steve Evans's former charges to Leeds and winning a drab Championship encounter 1-0. However the game was overshadowed by a double sending off when Gaetano Berardi appeared to be elbowed by Leon Best and retaliated, earning him and Rotherham's new signing a red-card although Berardi's was reduced to two-matches. Following a satisfying win at the club who sacked him, Redfearn then accused Leeds of being "childish" for allegedly denying him a parking-space at the ground on match day. Leeds responded by saying they routinely issue six-spaces to visiting teams and it is the discretion of the away side who gets them. Obviously it is generally an underwhelming feeling when you're paired with someone in the same division - with all respect due to the Millers. Hopefully the ticket-prices will be kept reasonable to capture the imagination of the fans, as another battle between Redfearn and Evans will not ensure a sell-out. Let's hope we can get last months horrible performance against the Millers and take full home advantage and be in the hat for a glamorous tie in round four.
