Carabao Cup: Leeds United presented with fourth-round trip away to Leicester City
Wednesday, 20th Sep 2017 22:17 by @LucasMonk_

Leeds United have tonight been drawn away to Leicester City in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

Following their defeat of Premier League Burnley on penalties yesterday evening, Leeds United will travel to the King Power Stadium in their next Carabao Cup outing.

All fourth-round ties are scheduled to be contested in the week commencing on October 23.

Leeds last did battle with the Foxes - who are presently 15th in the Premier League - some three years ago, losing against them at Elland Road in January 2014; a solitary goal from David Nugent secured victory for Leicester, who were then managed by the cantankerous Nigel Pearson.

United vanquished League Two opponents in Port Vale (4-1) and Newport County (5-1) at Elland Road in the first and second rounds respectively prior to their magnificent victory over Burnley, while Leicester defeated Sheffield United (4-1) in the second round before seeing off the challenge of Liverpool (2-0) at the King Power yesterday evening.
