 Tuesday, 18th Aug 2009 12:53 Following the news that Paul Lambert has quit to become manager of Norwich City, the U's now look likely to lose their captain to another side relegated from the Championship last season. Southampton have confirmed that they are currently in talks with Dean Hammond and hope to tie up a deal to sign the 26-year-old midfielder in the next 24-hours.
