Leeds aim to put their Wembley disappointment behind them by taking a huge--step towards survival when they face Burnley at Elland Road on Friday at 8pm.

The Clarets having already been relegated have just pride to play for. Scott Parker was sacked as I was writing this! Burnley havent recorded a league win since beating Palace away on February 11th.

Mike Jackson has been put in temporary charge. So for the second game running we face a team in dire form with a stand-in manager!

Although they are making a fast-track return to the Championship, they also amassed 100 points last season missing out on the title to us on goal difference. They also took four pointa off us last season and won the fixture at Turf Moor 2-0 in October.

They also have Hannibal Mejbri avallable again. Mejbri is something of a hate figure amongst the Leeds faithful due to his Man U connections and his jubilation in beating us last October was soured when he copped a four-match ban for spitting towards our supporters.

However Conor Roberts, if selected, will get a much nicer reception having been at Leeds on-loan in 2024 as part of the Leeds team who just missed out on the play-offs.

For Leeds Gabriel Gudmonsen is definitely out, the Swedish left back picked up a hamstring injury in Sunday's defeat to Chelsea. Id expect James Justin to deputise for him as he has done this season. Daniel Farke also said there were minor doubts over Noah Okafor and Jaka Bijol but other than Karl Darlow coming back in to replace Lucas Perri in goal, I don't anticipate too many changes from Wembley.

With Forest, West Ham and Spurs all winning big last weekend whilst we were on FA Cup duty, theres some pressure on us to get the job done. I think we will and Im going for a 2-0 Leeds win.
