Riemer has grim news about Okafor Saturday, 9th May 2026 07:30 Edmund Riemer stood in for poorly Daniel Farke at Friday's pre Tottenham presser and broke some bad news about in-form Noah Okafor. The Swiss winger has six goals in his last seven league starts but Leeds will have to make do without him in Monday night's big showdown. A double-calf injury is the reason why our £17m summer signing from AC Milan won't play and he will miss our final home game of the season against Brighton a week tomorrow (Sunday). Id expect Leeds to go with Lukas Nmecha up front with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, obvioualy Willie Gnonto is another option but I feel this is unlikely Riemer, Farke's long-term right hand man confirmed Gabriel Gudmonsen won't play either. Pascal Struijk was a minor doubt but he is likely to be ok. Riemer was also hopeful Farke would be well enough to be in the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on Monday night, as we aim to mathematically secure our Premier League status. However this may already be assured if Tottenham's most-hated rivals Arsenal do us (and Spurs) a favour and win at West Ham on Sunday! Riemer confirmed irrespective of the result in the London Stadium we are aiming to go out on a high and are aiming for as many points as possible. Aa expected, Roberto De Zerbi has seen an upturn in Tottenham's fortunes since his arrival, albeit back to back wins in the West Midlands against a woeful Wolves side and Villa who had one-eye on the Europa League semi-final. With this in mind im going for a 1-1 draw and I also think the West Ham v Arsenal game will be a draw too!
